Caulfield Wright Architects were commissioned in 2015 to design a new Toyota Showroom and Service Centre in Drogheda for Malone’s Toyota. Services included coordination with Toyota Ireland in respect of implementation of corporate standards in the design and liaison with the landlords for the retail park in which the site is located for design agreement, access and services. The building was designed to be the most efficient form and volume to address the dual functions and the site topography, and to address the exposure of the site on all four sides. Full height glazing presents to the principal roads with simple panels for corporate signage and regular event banners. The service bay provides a plain backdrop to the light and transparent showroom on the public sides.
