This contemporary home was commissioned by a retired couple who had purchased this infill site. We had to balance our clients desire for a modern energy efficient house with the requirements of the planning department who had concerns with the proximity of a protected structure.
The completed building has a pallet of render and white brick in angled panels and other bespoke detailed features. This adds interest, texture and contrast yet it is in harmony with its traditional surroundings.
